Accessibility Statement
This declaration on digital accessibility applies to the website of the Zweckverband Asien of the citys Rüsselsheim, Raunheim and Kelsterbach.
As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavor to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Hessian Equality Act for People with Disabilities ( HessBGG ) and the Hessian Ordinance on Barrier-Free Information Technology ( BITV HE 2019 ) implementing Directive ( EU ) 2016/2102.
status of compliance with the requirements
The accessibility requirements arise from Section 3 paragraphs 1 to 4 and Section 4 of the BITV HE 2019 , which was issued on the basis of Section 14 of the HessBGG . The verification of compliance with the requirements is based on a self-assessment carried out on September 12, 2024.
Non-accessible content
Based on the review, the website is partially incompatible with the above requirements due to the following exceptions.
Incompatibility with the BITV HE 2019
The content listed below is incompatible with Section 3 Paragraph 1 of the BITV HE 2019 and is not barrier-free for the following reasons:
Disproportionate burden The following areas are not designed to be barrier-free, as this would represent
a disproportionate burden in accordance with Section 3 Paragraph 5 BITV HE 2019 .
Subsection
live streams and videos, PDF files.
Description
No subtitles for live streams and videos of meetings of the Zweckverband Asien City Council. Some PDF files are not barrier-free.
Explanation of why there is a disproportionate burden
The currently selected technical solution for live streams does not allow subtitling. A technical alternative is being sought. Replacing the non-accessible PDFs with accessible PDFs would represent an economically disproportionate effort. The exchange is always planned when new versions of the documents are created.
Barrier-free alternative
The written minutes of the public meetings of the Zweckverband Asien can be viewed in the council information system of the Zweckverband Asien Management.
Date of creation of the accessibility statement
This statement was created on September 12, 2024.
